We, the International Football Institute and the VfB Stuttgart Academy, jointly pursue the goal of making soccer a little better every day!
However, the great potential of women in the entire sport remains an almost untapped resource. We would like to influence this positively as an impulse generator and therefore use our knowledge, our contacts and our possibilities of soccer to make them usable for the entire sport.
It is time for change, because only about 20% of those in leadership positions in sports are female, whereas the overall percentage of women in this industry is actually over 50%.
With the Masterclass Women Sportsleadership we offer women in the sports business, active and already no longer active sportswomen, as well as ambitious female employees from every sport the possibility to experience application-oriented expert knowledge in a compact form. Expanding contacts through network management, gaining visibility and taking the lead in sports through communicative and psychological strength – these are the goals of our participants.
In order to achieve these goals together, we have developed seven application-oriented modules that will significantly strengthen you in your personal development due to their great relevance for the future. Furthermore, our certificate course convinces with additional impulse lectures, for example in the fields of digital business models and sustainability.
All course participants benefit from our semi-virtual study concept, in which we offer 24/7 access to a modern online learning platform. In addition, we design the learning phases with both one attendance day per module, which we hold at the Mercedes Benz Arena or other VfB Stuttgart premises, and additional online seminars.
We attach great importance to small learning groups and consequently limit the number of participants. This is also particularly important to us, as we will create a protected space for personal exchange.

The Masterclass is a Germany-wide training and further education program and is aimed at women who are enthusiastic about sports. Especially women who already hold leadership positions in sports or who want to develop into such leadership positions.

YOUR LEARNING CONTENT IN THE MASTERCLASS "WOMEN SPORTSLEADERSHIP”
The training and further education program is carried out by the International Football Institute in cooperation with the VfB Stuttgart Academy. Renowned lecturers impart application-oriented knowledge for practical work.
In the seven modules, each with one day of attendance and one online seminar, the participants deal intensively with the focal points of women in sport, psychological skills, management skills in sport, communication as a key qualification, leadership skills in sport, legal basics and team development.
At the end of the certificate course, each participant completes a final presentation and a final paper.
The program also underpins the fact that good and modern leadership in sports does not depend on gender, but on appropriate knowledge and skills, which the participants acquire in this certificate in a theoretically sound, as well as practical way.
